Held during the peak of the Fall Foliage season, RambleFest offers two events: an awesome street festival and the Greylock Ramble, a hike to the summit of Mount Greylock. For family fun during the fall foliage season, come to Adams!
Until then, here is what you can expect.
Held outdoors at the Adams Visitor Center at 3 Hoosac Street, admission is free to a festival full of music, food and fun in celebration of autumn in the Berkshires. There will be live musical acts, local craft beer and wine, great food, produce, outdoor recreation, and craft exhibitors. Activities include a toasty campfire with marshmallows, pumpkin decorating, and other activities for the kids. Leashed pets are welcome, so it’s fun for the whole family! Historic Train Rides by Berkshire Scenic Railway will also be available, right across Hoosac Street at Adams Station. The festival runs from 12-5 p.m., rain or shine.
RambleFest 2026 will feature the headliner Pandemic Relief, with opener the Pug and John Show!
From our very first event, ProAdams has always featured local craft brewers and vintners. Antimony Brewing, based in nearby Lenox, will provide their special beer, Ramble Wolf, created just for our event! We will also have Samuel Adams Octoberfest, Shipyard Brewing Pumpkinhead, and Garage Beer on tap, along with Truly, hard cider, and wine.
In addition, non-alcoholic beverages will be offered at many vendors, including cider from Adams’ own Jaeschke’s Orchard, and fresh lemonade.
Berkshire Scenic Railway will be offering train rides on their Hoosac Valley Service vintage rail cars. Their station is directly across Hoosac Street from RambleFest. Rides available all RambleFest weekend. For tickets and scheduling information, please visit their website.
Since 1965, people who love fall colors, fantastic views, and a great hike in the woods gather at base of Mount Greylock for the annual Greylock Ramble. It’s the ultimate way to experience autumn in the Berkshires. Free shuttles take hikers from Adams Visitor Center to the Greylock Glen Outdoor Center and the Cheshire Harbor Trailhead and back from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Using the shuttle is strongly recommended, as parking near the trailhead is very limited. Shuttles to the Greylock Glen Outdoor Center run until 1 p.m., and return shuttles run until 4 p.m. Pets are permitted on the hike, but not on the shuttles.
This wouldn’t happen without our sponsors!
Also, thanks to the in-kind support of Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, Bounti-Fare Restaurant & Catering, Whitney’s Farm Market & Garden Center, Broadlawn Farm, the Town of Adams, Youth Center Inc., and the many volunteers who donate their time and efforts.
All your friends will be at RambleFest and you should be, too!
