This awesome outdoor winter festival was born in 2012 as a downtown activity after the Thunderbolt Ski Race on Mount Greylock. It has become an annual winter outing for residents and visitors alike!
This page will be updated regularly with details for Thunderfest 2023 held on March 25th.
Until then here is what you can expect.
Held outdoors at the Adams Visitor Center at 3 Hoosac Street, admission is free to a festival full of music, food and fun in celebration of winter in the Berkshires. There will be live musical acts,ย local craft beer and local wine, great food, outdoor recreation and craft exhibitors. Activities include a toasty campfire with marshmallows and other activities for the kids. Leashed pets are welcome, so it’s fun for the whole family! Historic Train Rides by Berkshire Scenic Railway will also be available, right across Hoosac Street at Adams Station. The festival runs from noon to 5.
We will be announcing this year’s band very soon!!!
ย
ย
From our very first event, ProAdams has always featured local craft brewers and vintners. This year’s ThunderBrews will be announced soon!
ย
In addition, non-alcoholic beverages will be offered by many vendors.
Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum will be offering train rides on their Hoosac Valley Service vintage rail cars. Their station is directly across Hoosac Street from ThunderFest. For tickets and scheduling information, please visit their website.
This wouldn’t happen without our sponsors!ย
Also, thanks to the in-kind support of Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, Bounti-Fare Restaurant & Catering, Broadlawn Farm, the Town of Adams, Youth Center Inc., and the many volunteers that donate their time and efforts.
